Yeah, I heard, Wayland is the future, but for remote access to your desktop, screenshot utilities and more, Wayland just sucks. I prefer to use Xorg for now and don’t care what the general consensus is.
If you want to know how to stop Wayland from being used on your machine (If using the Gnome display manager gdm3) and to force Xorg only, just uncomment the line, “#WaylandEnable=false” in the /etc/gdm3/custom.conf file. Reboot and enjoy.
